What counts as one email?

Why is there only one paid plan?

Accepted Answer

Because there is only one product. Production is the full API — sending, SMTP, DKIM, webhooks, tracking, suppressions, templates and logs — and the only thing you choose is how much you send. Prices come from one curve rather than a handful of named tiers, so the price per 1,000 falls smoothly from €0.900 at 10k to €0.215 at 2M and there is no jump where you have to buy far more volume than you need. Above 2M a month we quote you instead.

What happens when I go over my monthly limit?

By default, sending stops at your monthly quota — no surprise invoice from a retry loop you did not notice. If you would rather keep sending, switch on metered billing in Settings → Billing: transactional email then continues past the quota at the per-thousand rate for your volume, added to the following month's invoice. That charge is capped at the price of the next volume up, so going over never costs more than moving up would have, and sending pauses once the cap is reached. Broadcasts are the exception and always stop at your quota, because list mail affects deliverability for everyone on the platform.

Is there a limit on how fast I can send?

On a paid plan your monthly volume is the limit — there is no fixed daily number. The daily ceiling is derived from your plan and your recent sending, and is large enough to spend a month’s quota in about two days. A new sending domain starts lower and lifts within a day of real sending; that warm-up protects your own inbox placement, since a brand-new domain sending at full volume gets filtered whichever provider it came from. I already send at volume — how do I move to eusend?

Tell us before you cut over. Email support@eusend.dev with your current monthly volume and your sending domain, and we lift the new-account warm-up in advance so your first day is your normal day. Without that, a brand-new domain starts at a lower daily ceiling that lifts within a day of real sending — fine for a gradual move, disruptive if you flip everything at once. Either way the advice is the same one every deliverability team gives: move a share of your traffic first, keep it there for a few days, then shift the rest. Reputation follows the domain as much as the provider, so a domain you already send from carries its history over with it. There is a code-level guide at /migrate, and the SDKs are close enough to what you are probably using that most migrations are an import swap and a base URL.

How many webhook endpoints can I register?

One on the free tier, and 3 to 10 on Production depending on your volume — the exact number per volume is in the plans reference. The cap counts registered endpoints rather than deliveries, and it stops at 10 because endpoints scale with the number of systems consuming your events, not with how much you send. Endpoints you already have keep receiving events if you move down a volume.

How long do you keep my logs?

Free and the Production tiers up to 100k keep 30 days of logs; 250k and above keep 90. That covers the delivery record — status, timestamps, addresses, subject, and events — and the rendered body shown in the dashboard preview. Attachments are kept for 30 days on every plan; after that the log entry still records the filename and size, but the file itself is deleted.

Is my data actually in the EU?

Yes. Email processing, storage, and delivery all happen within EU infrastructure. We might use a US-based service for some supporting services, but your email data never leaves the EU.

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.
